Houthi Supreme Political Council chair Mahdi al-Mashat said the group would end all strikes on Saudi Arabia, provided the kingdom and its allies did the same.

The offer comes a week after drone and missile strikes hit Saudi Arabian oil facilities and a day after the U.S. Secretary of Defense, Mark Esper, announced that President Trump approved the deployment of U.S. forces and equipment in response to Saudi Arabia’s request for defensive assistance.
