The North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) is taking action to support the implementation of the UN Security Council Resolution 1325 on the equal participation of women in conflict resolution and peacebuilding processes throughout all stages of the conflict and at all levels within the peace forces.

The UN Women Sourcebook on Women, Peace, and Security, (WPS) gives an overview of the progress on the implementation of the UN Security Council Resolution 1325 a decade after its approval and publication. The document is a summary of the efforts and successes since.
